Welcome at the Fish Ecology Group homepage
We are interested in the population dynamics of fish species in large prealpine lakes, and how these are influenced by anthropogenic impacts, i.e. changes in lake productivity, aquatic invasions, global climate change, and fisheries management. By combining basic and applied research we wish to contribute to a better understanding of the structure and function of lake fish communities in a changing world, and to provide scientific advice for a sustainable management and conservation of these resources.
