Opportunities exist for motivated Master students to join our group.
Projects cover biochemical, molecular, and microscopic approaches to understand cell adhesion molecules and the exploitation of these surface structures by pathogenic bacteria.

Currently, emphasis is placed on the physiological role of integrins and CEACAMs and their interaction with microbes. Experience in handling infectious organisms and working knowledge of molecular biological methods, in particular participation in the advanced practical training course "Cell Biology - Cell adhesion and signal transduction" is an asset.
