Research Project
Silvretta Historica project. The project is partially supported by Zukunftskolleg
The goal of this project is the development of automated or semi-automated methods for detection of archaeological sites or traces of human settlements in high resolution satellite images. During the course of this project the general methodology and new approaches for detection and analysis of archaeological sites and features will be developed. The developed methodology will be further applied to the images acquired from the Silvretta High Alps region located along Swiss-Austrian border.
