Open Positions for Student Assistants
Powerbike Project
We are looking for a Student Assistant to work as a programmer in our group in the research project Powerbike.
The candidate should meet the following requirements:
- Good knowledge of the C++ programming language
- No fear of larger software projects
- Knowledge of or interest in learning to develop GUIs in Qt
- Interest in designing a bicycle simulator
- Basic knowledge in mathematics
- Interest in practical problems from sports science and particularly cycling is helpful
- Self-motivation and communication skills
The tasks require to familiarize oneself with the bicycle simulator software. Therefore, working hours are flexible but should be at least 30 hours per month and for at least one semester, preferentially more. An experienced student assistant is waiting for you to assist you to get familiarized with the system and to work together with you in a team.
